Singapore, 21st August 2014
It's been 3 months since my last post. I'm kinda lazy to write a new post because I got no idea what to write or something interesting to tell you. But now, I'm trying to write a post about my travel to three countries. I'm sorry if you find my English is not perfect or not good at all. I'm still learning.
So, here is the story. Me and my friends plan to travel abroad together about six months ago, and we agreed to visit Hong Kong. Since I never been to Singapore, I beg them to transit one day in Singapore and travel around and fortunately, they didn't mind. So we start with Singapore, then Hong Kong and Macau. We flew to Singapore from Surabaya on August 20 at 1.50 pm and arrived in Singapore at 5.20 pm. We supposed to fly at 8.40 pm but as you know, T*gerAir is not one of the best airlines, they often change the time or even canceled the flight with or without compensation. Sorry but that's the truth.

After arrived at Changi International Airport of Singapore, the best airport in the world by Skytrax, me, Ivon & Febri contact Mas Adi, Ivonne's friend who work in Singapore. We asked him to let us sleep on his apartment that night and he welcome us. Thanks to Mas Adi. We slept like only 3 hours and the morning come so fast. We prepare to travel around Singapore before our next flight at 2pm.
Our first destination is Merlion Park, a landmark of Singapore. Merlion Park is a major tourist attraction with more than 1 milion visitors per year, located at Fullerton One, Singapore, near the Central Business District. The Merlion in Merlion Park has been erected as a symbol to welcome all visitors to Singapore. It was formally installed at a ceremony on 15th September 1972 by Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, the Prime Minister. The statue was made from November 1971 to August 1972 by the late Singapore sculptor, Mr. Lim Nang Seng, it measures 8.6 metres high and weighs 70 tons.
Our second destination is Universal Studio Singapore in Resort World Sentosa on Sentosa Island. It's the second Universal Studio theme park to open in Asia (Japan being the first) and the first in Southeast Asia. Actually we didn't enter the studios, just walking around and taking some pictures in the Universal Globe. Besides we don't have enough time, the entrance ticket also expensive.
